Slow weddings, weddings that flow
When we started organizing weddings on the beach a few years ago, we didn’t know how to name the style that we thought such an important celebration in the life of a couple as a wedding should have. Starting this new project that is DBlanc has allowed us to reflect on what and how we want the beach weddings that are held there to be.
While we were in the process of refurbishing DBlanc, the latest edition of Wedding Trends Magazine fell into our hands. It was revealing because we were able to put a name to everything that for us should be part of the company’s philosophy. That trend, which has been our way of working for a long time, is called Slow Wedding.

What does Slow Wedding mean to us? Well, it is nothing more than working under two basic principles: naturalness and simplicity.
And by this we do not mean to make a sloppy wedding, without taking into account the quality of the elements that make up a wedding. No! On the contrary, we are committed to quality rather than quantity. For simplicity and not for pomposity. It’s about having the best quality food, not the most expensive foods. To make things beautiful with the resources we have at our disposal.
When we design menus we think of foods that are in our environment, in season. We designed the final presentation with all the care to make them attractive as well as tasty. We know how vital it is for the final result of food that is cooked at the moment, which is why we are committed to show cooking. For presenting the wedding meal in different stations with attractive proposals that will be prepared and served at the moment. In this way, we make sure that all attendees can eat according to their tastes and needs. Given the incredible variety of food, we make sure that everyone tastes the wedding banquet.

As for the organization of the wedding on the beach, we follow the same idea. We take care of and pamper the details but everything naturally. We like fresh flowers, the feel of wood on tables. Enjoy the fresh air and the warmth of the Mediterranean colours.
And linked to this naturalness in the development of the celebration, we are committed to tables without a seating plan. The protocol relaxed. For those reasons, we always recommend that you flee from gymkhana weddings just to do what is always done. To look good. Do what you are comfortable with.
